Step 1准备与热身(Preparation)

Show some number cards to review the cardinal numbers 1～31.

Let students say the numbers as quickly as they can.

Step 2呈现与输入(Presentation)

1．Students look at the pictures and the word list on the left.Then teacher plays the tape and let students read the words and conversation after the tape.

2．Present the ordinal numbers.

T：One，two，three…are cardinal numbers.It means “基数词”．

Now，we 're going to learn ordinal numbers.It means “序数词”．

基数词变序数词，加上－th莫迟疑，8去t，9 去e，y结尾变ie。five，twelve 两兄弟，常以f 代ve。

若是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。一二三特殊记，123尾t，d，d。

3．Present the months

(1)T：I have a very beautiful calendar.I'll teach you how to say the months in English.

T：OK.(Point to the picture of “一月”．)It's January.

T：And Jan.is short for January.

(Teach the other months in the same way and ask the students to sum up the spelling rules of these months.)
